Get fit, have fun and add a little twinkle to your toes when you learn to tango in downtown Tampa.

The Tampa Bay Tango Club and the Tampa Downtown Partnership are partnering up to offer a weekly free tango class in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.

The public is invited to join in to learn this passionate style of dance from 6 - 7 p.m. Thursdays.

All levels of skill are invited and no special shoes or partner are required, but non-rubber soled shoes are the best (no flip flops).

The class meets at the wood platform in the northeast corner of the park, adjacent to the Glazer Children’s Museum.

The park is located at 600 N. Ashley Drive, Tampa

For more information, call (813)221-3686 or visit the Tampa Downtown Partnership website.
