Through Aug. 6, you can get a free oil change for your car when you donate school supplies to needy kids.

Ice Cold Air, 410 S. Dale Mabry, Tampa, is collecting pencils, crayons and backpacks for kids who reside at The Children’s Home and trading the donations for free oil changes and courtesy checks for the public.

The offer is good for a standard oil change with five quarts of conventional oil. Those with cars that use synthetic oil will be charged the price difference on the two types of oil, only.

If you are not currently in need of an oil change Ice Cold Air will offer you a gift certificate toward any repair or maintenance in exchange for your donation.

The auto repair shop asks that the donations be new and unused items and of a value of at least $15.

For more information, visit http://icecoldair.com or call (813) 879-0600. An appointment for service is required.

Ice Cold Air is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
