Florida Aquarium hosts ‘Day of Discovery’ for those with autism

The Florida Aquarium is hosting a ‘Day of Discovery’ for families with sensory disabilities such as autism on Saturday, May 24 from 8 until 9:30 a.m.

The event is designed for those affected with this type of disability to experience the aquarium in a way that is sensitive to their needs.

Special activities and animal interactions are planned just for ‘Day of Discovery.’

Admission is $5 in advance and $8 at the door.

‘Day of Discovery’ guests are invited to stay for the normal operating hours of the aquarium after the special events have ended for no additional cost.
