‘Everyday Heroes’ treated to free Tampa Yankees game

The Tampa Yankees will be honoring ‘Everday Heroes’ this Thursday when they play the Lakeland Tigers at Steinbrenner Field.

On Thursday, July 3 the Tampa Yankees will offer free admission to all those who work to keep our nation safe. Gates open at 5 p.m. for the 7 p.m. game to everyone.

All active and retired military members, EMT, firefighters and law enforcement officers with valid identification will be treated to free game admission.

In conjunction with the heroes discount, the Yankees will also be celebrating ‘Throwback Thursday’ and offering tickets and some oncessions at 1994 prices.

Reserved seating will be available for $2 and general admission will be just $1.

Fourteen ounce draft beers will be available for $2, small sodas for $1 and half price nachos will be sold from 5-7 p.m.

There will be a post-game fireworks display at the conclusion of play.
