The Ikea “eat for free” deal returns this weekend, just in time for spring cleaning and sprucing up of your home.

You can deduct the cost of your meal from a housewares purchase of $150 or more before tax on March 8 and March 9.

Here's how it works:

1. Purchase your meal in the restaurant. The total can include a entire family's dining experience, there's no price limit.

2. Receive a coupon with your receipt.

3. Give your coupon and receipt to the check-out cashier and receive the total amount of your meal deducted from your purchase of over $150.

There are some restrictions, such as: the meal must be consumed on-site and only one receipt per purchase can be applied. Visit the Ikea website for more details and restrictions.

While you're at it, make sure to bring your February 2014 electric bill when you shop. Ikea is giving away free LED light bulbs the entire month of March. Simply present your electric bill to an Ikea employee in the furniture pick up area.

The offer is valid through March 30 at Tampa Ikea only and there is a limit of one LED bulb per household.

Tampa's Ikea store is located at 1103 N. 22nd St., near Ybor City.
