Free Comic Book Day is taking place on Saturday (May 3) at participating Tampa Bay area comic book shops.

This year's selection includes 60 titles of free comic books that are available to choose from for both children and adults. No purchase is necessary, but check with your local store about rules and restrictions. There is a limit of one book per person.

Titles of comics include Guardians of the Galaxy, Spongebob Squarepants, The Tick, Kaboom Summer Blast, Bongo Free For All, The Adventures of Jellaby, Buck Rogers, Teen Titans Go, Transformers vs. GI Joe, Entropy, The Smurfs, Atomic Robo and Friends, Power Rangers, Hello Kitty and others.

Selections and availability may vary by store. Offer good while supplies last.

Some stores may even have special events planned on that day, in addition to the giveaway.
