The KHov Homebuyer Assurance program protects a homebuyer's investment during construction through the closing and beyond. During construction a homebuyer is assured in the event of job loss, any deposits will be returned. Through the closing, if a comparable home is offered at a lower price, K. Hovnanian Homes offers a price protection that allows them to feel comfortable with their decision to purchase. Additionally, the homebuyer's assurance continues beyond closing up to 24 months and covers the principal and interest portion of a mortgage payment up to $2000 in the event of job loss. Schulmeyer said he is seeing changes for the better in today's home market. "Our sales have substantially improved. First quarter sales were up more than 15 percent over that same time frame for 2008."

"Things are starting to make a turn for the positive, now is definitely the time to buy and enjoy not only the most affordable pricing we have seen in a generation but also the, homes built to higher building standards homes are built to today as well asand thea host of incentives offered to buyers including the $8000 homebuyer tax credit for those who qualify," Schulmeyer said.
