Isolated thunderstorms will hit parts of the Tampa Bay area throughout the morning, WFLA meteorologists said.
The likelihood you'll see rain will increase going into the afternoon and evening, especially for inland and northern parts of the Bay area, where the forecast calls for about a 50 percent chance of rain, WFLA meteorologist Bryan Bennett said.
"The good news is that these showers are relatively fast moving and will pass through quickly," Bennett said.
Those scattered storms are expected to continue into Sunday.
Today's high will be around 90 degrees with high humidity.
