Where to find help

Published:

People who want to review or change their Medicare health coverage in 2014 can access local phone and online resources.

SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) is a statewide resource offering free, unbiased and confidential information about Medicare options.

You can search for information on your own online or request a phone or in-person appointment with a trained, volunteer counselor. Expect to leave a message initially. When you speak with a counselor, it helps to have your Medicare card number, date of birth, ZIP code and a list of any medications you take.
