We're well into Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so you no doubt have noticed all the NFL players dressed in pink gear, all the pink products available at local stores and, of course, all the pink ribbons pinned to shirts and lapels.
What you probably haven't seen yet is the staff at Bayshore Pointe Nursing and Rehab Center in Tampa doing their Pink Glove Dance.
But you can. Just go to pinkglovedance.com and click on Start Voting.
The Bayshore Pointe video, one of more than 260 in competition for best Pink Glove Dance 2012 bragging rights, is done to the song "Part of Me" by Katie Perry and incorporates the rehab equipment the staff uses each day.
Voting ends Nov. 2; the winners will be announced Nov. 9.
The competition is sponsored by Medline Industries Inc., manufacturer of Generation Pink gloves for health care workers that are designed to bring attention to breast cancer research and other issues. Medline donates a portion of the sale of the pink gloves to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
