A central Florida man is spending this Father's Day recovering after giving his son a kidney.
Fifty-four-year-old Steven Zollman of Longwood underwent surgery Friday at Florida Hospital Orlando to give his 24-year-old son Brian one of his kidneys.
The son is a recent graduate of the University of Central Florida. He has had kidney problems throughout his life and a year ago his doctors decided he needed a transplant.
His father was the first person tested and was found to be a suitable donor.
