BROOKSVILLE – Lorraine Haight, 27, wanted chocolate.
Sheriff’s deputies say she removed price tags from four pieces of white metal jewelry Monday at Walmart at 13300 Cortez Boulevard before making her way to the grocery aisle, where she took seven chocolate bars off the shelf.
Those also went in her purse, deputies say, and with her passed the check-out and into the parking lot.
She was arrested and charged with shoplifting and taken to Hernando County Jail on $250 bond.
The items allegedly stolen cost $53.13.
She posted bail half-past noon on Christmas Eve.
