Ahoy! Have you seen pirates in Tampa?

Hundreds of thousands of people take to the streets of Tampa each year for the Gasparilla Pirate Fest, but the city's pirate infatuation isn't limited to a single Saturday in January.

Whether it's driving by the Jose Gaspar pirate ship docked off of Bayshore Boulevard, walking over manhole covers adorned with pirate galleons, or sipping Cigar City Invasion Pale Ale (brewed in Tampa) from a can featuring an eye-patched buccaneer, locals know that pirates are a perpetual presence.

We've collected some photos of pirate sightings around Tampa, but we'd like to see yours.

If you have a picture of something pirate-related you've spotted locally, send it to content@tbo.com and we'll add it to our gallery.
