UT’s Plant museum kicks off holiday shopping with sale

TAMPA - The Henry B. Plant Museum at the University of Tampa is hosting Holiday Shopping Day until 6 p.m. today with free homemade cookies and other items offered all day. Complimentary wine and cheese will be served at 4 p.m.

The store features ornaments serving pieces, table furnishings, books, jewelry, silver, fragrances, porcelain, linens, candles, hostess gifts, and children and baby toys.

Many items are unique to the Victorian era. Vendors on the veranda have books, soy candles and oils, goat’s milk soap, photographs and pottery.

Museum members receive a 20 percent discount on all museum store purchases and all other shoppers will receive a 10 percent discount (consignment items are excluded).
