Local businesses lending hand to furloughed federal workers with freebies

Several businesses in the Washington D.C. area made news when they offered free food and other items to furloughed federal workers to show support during the government shutdown.

Now, Tampa Bay area businesses are joining in to help local employees who are being affected.
