Kids can make their own crafty gifts for giving for just a few dollars or even free this holiday season.

Advance online registration is often required and some of the more popular ones fill up fast.

The sessions are typically held Saturday mornings and afternoons.

Home Depot: Kids can make either a small toolbox or a tic-tac-toe game or both! For schedule and details, visit http://workshops.homedepot.com/workshops/kids-workshops

Michaels: For just $2, kids can create a winter scene snow globe, reindeer ornament or sew a felt stocking. Visit http://www.michaels.com/Kids-Store-Events/store-events-kids,default,pg.html for times and dates.

Lowes: A pull back car and a train engine are currently on the schedule at the Build & Grow kid clinic. These fill quickly so you may have to travel to another Lowes location if you don't register far enough in advance. Visit http://lowesbuildandgrow.com/pages/default.aspx for more details.
