The Glazer Children's Museum is at 110 W. Gasparilla Plaza in downtown Tampa.

Make plans for Tuesday (Sept. 3), to visit Tampa's Glazer Children's Museum.

It's Target Tuesday and admission is free!

From 2 to 7 p.m., admission fees are waived for everyone who visits the kids museum. Regular daily admission is $15 for adults and $9.50 for children.

As a special treat, there will be a visit by PBS television characters Maya and Miguel.

Also on that day a new kids' fitness initiative will be introduced: “Playin' in the Park.”

The event, sponsored by Fit Kids Playground, will feature lots of new activities on the first Tuesday of each month, including sports demonstrations, healthy snacks, hula hoops, bubbles and sports equipment for kids to enjoy in Curtis Hixon Park adjacent to the Glazer Children's Museum.
