Adoption fees on black pets reduced by half at HSTB

November is “Back in Black” month at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay and they're celebrating by reducing adoption fees of all black animals by half.

 

Through Nov. 30, adopt a black cat, dog, rabbit or pocket pet and save on the usual adoption fees.

 

Regular prices on adoptables range from $10 for pocket pets such as rats and hamsters on up to $150 for puppies and small dogs.

 

Each HSTB animal has been vaccinated, health-checked, de-wormed, de-fleaed, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Pets who are 4 months or older receive a rabies vaccine. All dogs receive a DHLPP vaccine and are heartworm-tested at 5 months or older. All cats are tested for FeLv and cats 6 months and older are tested for FIV.

 

The Humane Society is located at 3607 N Armenia Ave., Tampa.

 

The shelter is open Tuesday through Sunday for adoption visitations.
