Fireworks, games mark July Fourth in Plant City

Fireworks, games and entertainment will be part of the city's Fourth of July celebration at Plant City Stadium.

The parking lot at the stadium at 1810 E. Park Road opens at 5:45 p.m. and gates, concessions, games and entertainment start at 6 p.m. There will be a special salute to the military and the national anthem at 9 p.m., followed by the fireworks at about 9:15 p.m.

There is no admission charge; parking is $5 per vehicle.

The rain date is Friday, July 5.
