TAMPA — Internationally renowned animal expert Jack Hanna will be back at Busch Gardens on Sept. 13 and 14 for Wild Days, a weekend of wild animal shows, autograph signing and special meet-and-greet sessions with fans.
“Jungle Jack” Hanna will share animal facts and travel tales during the animal shows at Stanleyville Theater. He also will make special appearances at a family sleepover on Saturday night.
Hanna, best known as the star of the television series “Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild,” where audiences are invited to join him on expeditions around the globe, uses a hands-on approach that has won him widespread acclaim as a conservationist, author and lifelong adventurer.
The Wild Days shows will be at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. both days. Hanna will share his world travels, introduce some fan-favorite animals and teach the importance of wildlife conservation. All shows are included with the price of admission to the park.
The Jack Hanna Family Fun Sleepover will be Sept. 13 from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. Guests will spend the night at Busch Gardens in one of the park’s secure areas. There will be interactive activities and an animal adventure hosted by Hanna.
Dinner, a continental breakfast and commemorative gifts are included.
The sleepover is designed for families with children in grades three or higher. The cost is $78 a person, with discounts available for annual pass members.
Busch Gardens admission is not required or included. Registration is required.
