Mike Wolfe, creator and star of the History channel's hit reality series “American Pickers,” will meet fans at several locations around Tampa today.
Wolfe will be at Hogan's Beach restaurant at 7700 W. Courtney Campbell Causeway, from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., the ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, 3110 W. Gandy Blvd., from 12:30 to 2 p.m., and Total Wine, 1720 N. Dale Mabry Hwy., from 2:15 to 3:45 p.m.
Wolfe is in town to promote American Vintage Hard Tea. He partnered with the adult beverage brand to “celebrate shared passions for vintage, craftsmanship and classic tastes,” a news release said.
“American Pickers” follows Wolfe and Frank Fritz as they travel the Midwest in a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van, scouring people's homes, barns and attics for valuable antiques and collectibles often mistaken as junk.
The series, which airs Mondays at 9 p.m., is currently in its fifth season.
