Two stars of the improv television show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” will bring their quick comic wit to St. Petersburg next year.

Brad Sherwood and Colin Mochrie will perform an evening of interactive improv sketches at The Mahaffey Theater on March 9 at 7 p.m.

Mochrie and Sherwood will take contributions from the audience to create original scenes, and some audience members will even be brought on stage to participate, a news release from the Mahaffey said.

Tickets, ranging from $29.50 to $47.50, go on sale at noon Sept. 6 online at themahaffey.com or by calling (727) 893-7832.

Sherwood and Mochrie appeared on the original U.S. version of “Whose Line Is It Anyway,” hosted by Drew Carey, from 1998 to 2006. Mochrie still appears on a revived version of the show on The CW.

Sherwood and Mochrie’s special, “Two Man Group: Live and Dangerous Comedy,” was released on DVD in 2011.
