Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are returning to Tampa in May.
The band, coming off a tour of South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, will be appearing at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on May 1.
Tickets go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster.com.
The show, Springsteen’s first in the Tampa area since March 2012, is part of 15 new U.S. Tour dates announced by the band.
Springsteen’s latest latest studio album, “High Hopes,” debuted at No. 1 in 20 countries last month.
The concert also kicks off the three-day Big Guava Music Festival at the Fairgrounds beginning Fri., May 2. The inaugural festival will feature Outkast, Vampire Weekend, Foster the People and close to 40 other artists.
