See Monster Jam trucks for free at Tampa area stores

Giant monster trucks will be parked at select stores throughout the Tampa Bay area Friday as they gear up for competition at Saturday's Monster Jam event at Raymond James Stadium.

Visitors to the stores will get a free chance to see and take pictures with the 12,000-pound trucks, and meet the drivers who will guide them as they crush cars, rip through the mud and perform aerial stunts.

Here's where the trucks will be Friday:

Zombie, Metro PCS, 2907 N. Dale Mabry Highway, 2 to 6 p.m.

Razin Kane, Advance Auto Parts, 3012 W. Hillsborough Ave., 2 to 6 p.m.

Grinder, Advance Auto Parts, 4010 N. Nebraska Ave., 2 to 6 p.m.

Monster Mutt Rottweiler, Autoway Ford of Bradenton, 5325 14 St. W., 2 to 6 p.m.

Stone Crusher, Advance Auto Parts, 8317 Rustic Drive, 2 to 6 p.m.

Gunslinger, Elder Ford, 9560 N. Florida Ave., 3 to 7 p.m.

Max-D, Wal-Mart, 2602 James L. Redman Parkway, Plant City, 3 to 7 p.m.

Tickets for Saturday's 7 p.m. Monster Jam event at Raymond James Stadium are on sale through Ticketmaster outlets for $15 to $35. Tickets are also on sale for a second Monster Jam event at Raymond James Stadium on Feb. 2.
