Jim Breuer became a star on "Saturday Night Live" with his signature character Goat Boy and his dead-on impression of Joe Pesci, but the veteran comic has never strayed far from his stand-up roots.

He'll return to the stage in 2013 for a stand-up tour with an April 13 stop at the Straz Center's Ferguson Hall in Tampa.

Tickets go on sale Dec. 14 at noon for $24.50, according to the Straz Center's website.

Breuer, 44, who starred as a loveable stoner in the 1998 cult-classic "Half Baked," has taken his comedy in a family-friendly direction in recent years, after becoming a father of three daughters.

These days Breuer hosts a regular show on SiriusXM radio, where his impressions of celebrities such as Tracy Morgan, Ozzy Osbourne and Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich commonly factor into the mix.
