Fresh off the news that his TV show will return for a second season, Anthony Jeselnik is coming to Tampa.
The comic and host of the "The Jeselnik Offensive," which debuted earlier this year on Comedy Central, will perform at the Straz Center's Ferguson Hall on Oct. 12.
Jeselnik is known for his dark sense of humor, and an arrogant on-stage persona that often has him playing devil's advocate.
Tickets, which start at $27.50, go on sale Friday through strazcenter.org or by visiting the box office at 1010 N. Macinnes Place in Tampa.
A veteran stand-up who has performed on "Conan," "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" and "The Tonight Show," Jeselnik's profile began to rise when he appeared on the Comedy Central roasts of Donald Trump and Charlie Sheen. Jeselnik has also written for "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" and received an Emmy nomination for his work on "A Night of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Concert for Autism Education."
