After fussing over the turkey, the football games and maybe some holiday shopping, it's time to turn to the electronic hearth for some classic holiday fare.

"Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade," 9 a.m. Thursday, NBC, CBS: The annual miracle on 34th Street includes three new balloons -- Elf on the Shelf, Hello Kitty and Papa Smurf.
"It's a SpongeBob Christmas," 9:30 p.m. Friday, CBS: A holiday debut, but sure to be a classic. Plankton uses his special jertonium-laced fruitcake to try and steal the secret Krabby Patty formula.
"A Charlie Brown Christmas," 8 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 28), ABC: Linus knocks perspective into many of us with his speech and "tidings of great joy." (Also 8 p.m. Dec. 20)
"Christmas in Rockefeller Center," 8 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 28), NBC: singers Trace Adkins, Mariah Carey, Cee Lo Green and others help light the famous holiday tree.
"It's a Wonderful Life," 8 p.m. Dec. 1, NBC:Every time a bell rings, we get teary-eyed. Don't judge us. (Also, 8 p.m. Dec. 24)
"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," 8 p.m. Dec. 4, CBS: A true classic thanks to that shiny nose, the Island of Misfit Toys, and Hermie, the dentist who helps save Christmas.
"Miracle on 34th Street," 8 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. Dec. 9 on AMC: We love the judge being buried with "Dear Santa" letters. (With multiple airings through December, check acmtv.com)
"Santa Claus is Coming to Town," 8 p.m. Dec. 11, ABC: A Rankin-Bass classic featuring Kris Kringle overcoming Burgermeister to deliver toys to children all over the world.
"Yes, Virginia," 9 p.m. Dec. 14, CBS: Animated telling of the true story about the most famous newspaper editorial of all time. Newspapers rule!
"The Elf on the Shelf – An Elf's Story," 9:30 p.m., Dec. 14, CBS: Based on the popular book that apparently keeps kids in line this time of year.
"White Christmas," 9:45 p.m. Dec. 14, AMC: Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye help the Army in this movie that ends with the classic holiday song. (With multiple airings, check amctv.com)
"Elf," 8 p.m. Dec. 15, CBS: Will Ferrell stars as a man raised as an elf who heads to New York to find his true self. Hey, that rhymes!
"How the Grinch Stole Christmas," 8 p.m. Dec. 18, ABC: Don't get any ideas and tie an antler to your dog's head. (Also, 8 p.m. Dec. 25; plus the movie version, starring Jim Carrey airs immediately after.)
"A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie," 8 p.m. Dec. 18, The CW: An angel tries to help despondent Kermit after he loses the Muppet Theatre.
"Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol," 8 p.m. Dec. 22, NBC: A 50th anniversary celebration of the nearsighted Magoo as Scrooge.
"A Christmas Story," a 24-hour marathon begins at 8 p.m Dec. 24, TBS: We double-dog dare you not to laugh when the "fragile" leg lamp ends up in the front window.
