Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is shutting down its SheiKra roller coaster from Monday until Feb. 15.
According to the theme park's blog, the "floorless" steel roller coaster will be shut down to give the ride a fresh coat of paint.
A post on the park's Facebook page read: "We are committed to making improvements to our attractions to keep them not only safe, but looking their absolute best for our guests' enjoyment."
The rest of the park's attractions and roller coasters will remain open for normal hours.
SheiKra, one of the tallest roller coasters in the country, opened in 2005. Railing and sections of the floor were removed to increase the ride's thrills in 2007. It features a 200-foot drop at a 90-degree angle, and reaches speeds of 70 mph.
