Classic rock, motorcycles and television stars will collide in Pinellas Park on Saturday for the inaugural Born to Ride Jam, a daylong festival taking over England Brothers Park.
With a concert lineup including Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Foghat and Paul Rodgers, plus appearances by Katey Sagal from FX’s “Sons of Anarchy” and others, organizers said they’re hoping to attract not only bikers, but also “classic rockers, southern rebels, the LGBT community, indie hipsters and...TV junkies.”
General admission tickets are $25 from the Born to Ride Jam website or by calling (877) 987-6487. A variety of VIP and celebrity meet-and-greet packages are available for $20 to $250. Gates open at 11 a.m.
Other bands scheduled to play include Blackberry Smoke, Molly Hatchet and David Allan Coe.
Sagal, who plays Gemma, will be joined by “Sons of Anarchy” cast-mates Kim Coates (Tig) and Theo Rossi (Juice). There will also be appearances by the cast of History channel’s “Counting Cars,” Animal Planet’s “Gator Boys” and professional pool player Jeanette “The Black Widow” Lee.
