The University of South Florida kept its hip hop homecoming streak alive today by announcing Grammy-winning rapper T.I. as this year’s homecoming parade after-party headliner.
The Grammy-winning Atlanta rapper will take the stage in the USF Sun Dome parking lot for a free, open-to-the-public concert on Oct. 10 at 8 p.m., according to a video announcement posted to the event’s Facebook page.
Also appearing will be DJ and trap music producer TWRK.
The concert will be part of the part of the free USF homecoming carnival which runs from 4 p.m. to midnight at the Sun Dome. The Running With the Bulls night parade will feature floats on the campus’ Maple and Alumni drives beginning at 7 p.m.
The USF Bulls face East Carolina in their homecoming game at Raymond James Stadium on Oct. 11.
Also announced: comedian Jo Koy will perform at the USF homecoming Stampede Comedy Show on Oct. 7. That event is free for USF students only.
