The second day of the Taste of Pinellas on St. Petersburg’s downtown waterfront was as successful as the first, organizers said.
The event returned this weekend after a year’s hiatus.
Saturday’s lineup at Albert Whitted Park was The Blues Brothers, featuring Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi, and KC and The Sunshine Band.
Along with music, local restaurants offered food and drinks.
“We’re very pleased with the turnout and everything, from reaction to comments to enjoyment, has been positive,” said Scott Schecter, president of Bill Edwards Presents, the company behind the two-day festival.
Proceeds went to All Children’s Hospital.
