James Taylor has Tampa on his mind, or at least his list, for cities he’ll visit during this fall’s U.S. tour.
“An Evening With James Taylor and His All-Star Band” will stop at the Forum in downtown Tampa on Nov. 14, the arena announced today.
The songwriting legend will make two other stops in Florida during the tour: Pensacola on Nov. 12, and Jacksonville on Nov. 19.
Tickets for the Tampa date go on sale Sept. 5 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster outlets, by calling 1-800-745-3000 or at the Forum box office. Prices are $31.75, $56.25 and $96.25.
Taylor was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000 for his decades-spanning career that includes hits “Fire and Rain,” “Carolina on my Mind” and “You’ve Got a Friend.”
His most recent release was 2010’s “Live at the Troubadour,” a recording of his 2007 Los Angeles concert with Carole King.
