Fireworks will light the sky while decorated boats illuminate the water below on Sunday at the second annual Light The Night Labor Day celebration on Tampa's downtown waterfront.

Boats, paddleboards and kayaks decorated with lights will launch from the Tampa Convention Center at 8 p.m. and sail through Seddon Channel and around Harbour Island past Channelside Bay Plaza.

The parade will be followed by fireworks from Channelside, beginning at 8:45 p.m., according to funintampabay.com.

There will be live entertainment and food trucks at The Sail Pavilion at the Tampa Convention Center and Channelside Bay Plaza from 6 to 10 p.m.

Prizes for best lighted boat (or lighted people on boats) will be awarded at The Sail Pavilion after the fireworks.

The Florida Aquarium is extending its hours as part of the Light Up the Night celebration with $15 admission after 5 p.m., and the <URL destination="http://events.tbo.com/tampa_fl/events/show/370693193-summer-fireworks-dinner-cruises">Yacht Starship is offering a special “fireworks cruise.”
