All the talk is about “Noah,” but I’m going to see “The Grand Budapest Hotel” tonight. Eager to see Ralph Fiennes be funny.
Plus it has all the quirky characters director Wes Anderson is known for.
I’ve seen the commercials for a month — it’s about time it got here.
And you gotta love reserved seats and cocktails and CineBistro. #MovieHeaven.
♦ Joan Rivers is a sit-down guest on “The Tonight Show” tonight. She made a brief appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s inaugural show, but this will be the first time she’s been a guest since Johnny Carson banned her more than 25 years ago.
The former “Tonight Show” guest host was banned after she got her own talk show.
I am hoping for a real discussion tonight and not just jokey joke joke, but if Fallon has a flaw it’s in the meaningful conversation category. So, I’m bracing for disappointment.
♦ I can’t imagine going to Taco Bell for breakfast, but I am loving their Ronald McDonald commercials. That’s advertising genius.
♦ Count me among those people who thinks the “mom” on “How I Met Your Mother” is dead. We’ll find out Monday when the CBS sitcom comes to its, wait for it, legendary end. The show airs at 8 p.m.
