It’s going to be a hot, humid day, but drier weather is moving into the Tampa Bay area, WFLA meteorologist Bryan Bennett said.
Today will be drier than yesterday, with a sunny morning and spotty storms moving into the area after 2 p.m., mostly centered in eastern Hillsborough County, Bennett said. Overall there’s about a 40 percent chance you’ll see some rain this afternoon.
“It’s part of a drying trend that will take us into Sunday and next week,” Bennett said.
Sunday will have only about a 30 percent chance of rain, and Monday should be even drier, Bennett said.
Saturday’s afternoon high will reach about 91 degrees.
