TAMPA — The Melting Pot fondue restaurant chain on Monday named chef Jason Miller as its corporate chef and culinary development leader for North America.
The franchise, owned by Tampa-based Front Burner Brands, operates 135 restaurants in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Front Burner’s other franchises include Burger 21 and Grillsmith.
Miller has worked for more than two decades in the restaurant industry. He most recently was executive chef and partner at The Capital Grille on Wall Street in New York City. He also collaborated on restaurant concepts with the David Burke Group and Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group.
Miller replaces Shane Schaibly, who in February joined Sarasota-based First Watch restaurants as corporate chef and culinary director.
