The Blick Law Firm is expanding its immigration practice with a new facility on Gunn Highway.
The firm recently purchased a 3,000-square-foot office in Carrollwood, but will retain its current space a few blocks away on 4315 Gunn Hwy. for its new immigration practice. The center will help immigrants on their way to citizenship and try ease their way into new lives.
Michael Blickensderfer, the principal attorney at the Blick Law firm, said it was time to expand.
“Our recent growth necessitates a larger space,’’ Blickensderfer said. “But as we grow, we are taking care to keep our high level of personal service because that is the key to our continued success.’’
Viviane Blickensderfer, vice president of the firm, has her own experience as an immigrant after coming to the U.S. as a young girl from Egypt.
The firm promises to help people discover pathways to citizenship and help in the process of applying to be a taxpayer. A percentage of its proceeds support mission work and charitable organizations.
The firm, which has a mission of “Helping the Hurting,” says it is grounded in Christian values and provides emotional and physical support as well as meeting the legal needs of its clients.
The firm also is involved with outreach and missionary work, both domestically and abroad.
