Newland Communities reprises its Concerts for a Cause, featuring live rock 'n' roll and top 40 bands.

The event is free, but a donation of nonperishable food items for Feeding America Tampa Bay is requested.

During the 2013 Concerts for a Cause series, more than three tons of food were collected for Feeding America Tampa Bay, which helps hungry people in 10 West Central Florida counties.

Concerts will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. on Fridays:

May 2, Stormbringer will perform classic rock with a light show at FishHawk Ranch's Central Park, 14215 Barrington Stowers Drive, Lithia.

May 9, Mighty Mongo, a four-piece rock band from St. Petersburg, will play at the Landing at Waterset, 7012 Sail View Lane, Apollo Beach.

May 16, Charlie Hotel will offer modern pop-rock covers at FishHawk Ranch.

May 30, Bluestone Circle will get people dancing to its funk, disco and classic rock at Waterset.

June 6, Mighty Mongo will perform at FishHawk Ranch.

June 13, Charlie Hotel will play at Waterset.

June 20, Lovestruck Robot, winner of the Florida Grammy Showcase, will play at FishHawk Ranch.

June 27, Kings County of Orlando will play party rock and alternative/modern music at Waterset.

♦ From 6-9 p.m. July 4, Stormbringer will play at the last Concerts for a Cause show at Waterset, and Frequency Band will perform classic and current top 40 tunes in the final show at FishHawk Ranch.
