Brazilian-born Romildo Sanchez, owner of the Player’s Club of Tampa Bay soccer club in Brandon, traveled with his 8-year-old son, Ronaldo Sanchez, to attend the 2014 FIFA World Cup quarterfinals game between the Netherlands and Costa Rica at Arena Fonte Nova, in the city of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.

“The World Cup is coming to an end,” he said. “I want to inform you how well organized the event was. The Brazilians, as expected, are doing a great job welcoming people from all over the world and hosting this event. It has been a great experience not only for me but also for my son, Ronaldo.”

Sanchez’s Player’s Club teaches Brazilian-style soccer to players as young as 4 years old and offers teams, summer camps, Futsal and pick-up games for coed adults, youths and ladies. Schedules and fees are available at www.players clubsoccer.com.
