The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a Valrico teenager missing since Wednesday.

Ashley Lyon, 16, left her home at 4705 Water Lark Way at around 4 p.m. and has not been seen since. Lyon has been diagnosed as bipolar and did not take her medications with her, deputies said.

Deputies believe Lyon might be with Steven Patrick Myers, 41, of 6801 N. Dormany Road in Plant City. Myers is a registered sex offender, deputies said.

Lyon and Myers might be traveling in southeastern Hillsborough County in a 1989 Ford Ranger pickup truck with flames painted on the front and sides, with Florida tag CSJ-M45, deputies said.

Lyon is described as 5-foot-6, 175 pounds with black hair worn in a crew cut style and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black tank top, black gym shorts and black Vans sneakers.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office at (813) 247-8200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-8477, or to report anonymously online at www.crimestopperstb.com or by texting “CSTB” plus their tip to C-R-I-M-E-S (274637).
