Field of Honor: The Veterans Council of Hillsborough County will conduct their quarterly Field of Honor Ceremony at 11:30 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, 3602 U.S. 301N, Tampa. This event will honor the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guardsmen who have given their all in support of Operation Enduring Freedom during the previous three months. During the ceremony, the names of the fallen are read and a small American flag is placed in the ground to honor each of the fallen service member.
