Beth Moore Bible study course begins soon

Published:

A Beth Moore Bible study course is coming to First United Methodist Church of Brandon, 121 N. Knights Ave.

There will be two tracks of the nine-week DVD study, Children of the Day, which will examine the New Testament books First and Second Thessalonians. One started at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, in a sanctuary classroom, the other will start at 9:30 a.m., Sept. 10, in the social hall.

Books are $16 for the classes.

In 1994, Moore founded Living Proof Ministries to teach women about the Bible. Groups around the world use her books and DVDs, and Moore can be heard on the radio and seen on television. Married to Keith Moore, they have two grown daughters and the whole family lives in Houston.

Local Bible study author and humorist Debora M. Coty described Beth Moore’s studies as “the hottest thing since the invention of matchsticks. They’re thorough, detailed, Scripture-rich and invoke excellent discussion.”

To sign up or get more details, contact Tina at humblecounselor@yahoo .com (Tuesday class) or Bobbi at bhughes21@verizon.net (Wednesday class).
