A Haines City man suffered minor injuries this morning when the tire blew out on his truck, causing him to overturn on the Howard Frankland Bridge.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 28-year-old Ramon Flores was driving a 2004 Ford pickup southbound in the center lane, near mile marker 33, around 9:30 a.m. when his left rear tire blew out.
Flores lost control and struck the center barrier wall, the FHP said.
He then ended up back on the roadway and onto the outside shoulder, where he struck the outside concrete barrier wall and overturned, the FHP said.
Flores was transported to Bayfront Medical Center with minor injuries.
