Amy Lee and Lindsey Stirling. Now there's a pairing that makes sense.
Lee, the Goth-influenced singer of Grammy-winning alternative group Evanescence, and Stirling, the physical and theatrical power violinist who rose to fame on America's Got Talent, both know a thing about fusing classical and modern pop sounds.
So it makes sense they're hitting the road this summer.
Evanescence and Stirling will co-headline a tour of America that'll stop at Tampa's MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on Aug. 17. Tickets are $25 and up, and they go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
Evanescence is best known for crossing over into mainstream success with hits like Bring Me To Life and My Immortal; they won the Grammy for Best New Artist in 2004. Stirling has been a viral phenomenon for much of this decade, selling out theaters on the strength of her unique and stylized performances.
