Avalon delivers winning designs on big lots

There’s no better way to help you conceptualize your new home than to walk through a model home. The ability to see the architectural details, how the space flows, and how a room can fill with natural light gives you a real sense of what your own home will be like.

If you take a minute to tour the Avalon IV model at Forest Oaks in Wesley Chapel, you’ll see why it has earned multiple awards and why families are so satisfied with its beautiful design and functionality.

“The Avalon model is very livable and fun for family life,” said Ralph Zuckerman, president of Avalon Building Corp. “It is spacious, bright and open with a great floor plan and phenomenal architectural details. And there is no wasted space. Everything about this home is meant to meet the needs of today’s families.”

Numerous times, the Avalon series of models won the Grand Award in the Tampa Bay Builder’s Association Parade of Homes and the Best of Show Award in the Pasco Builder’s Association Parade of Homes. The Avalon Series also has won the Best Kitchen, Best Master Suite and Best Floor Plan categories several times.

“These awards are a very nice recognition from the industry and show why families love our home designs,” Zuckerman said. “Come see why our Avalon series keeps winning.”

The Avalon IV has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, den, bonus room and a three-car garage. With 3,170 square feet of living space, the home features three coffered ceilings that come as standard with the home. Prices start at $295,900 ($93 per square foot), plus lot.

As key areas, the family room and kitchen are oversized, Zuckerman said.

“The family room is 17 feet wide with a 13-foot vaulted ceiling and pot shelves for a warm and very spacious feeling,” he said. “It also features a fireplace as standard, which is typically an expensive upgrade with most homes. And it’s a double sided fireplace, so it is also uniquely enjoyed in the bonus room.

“This kitchen’s layout is very functional, with plenty of countertop space, storage, and a walk-in pantry – all overlooking the family room and outdoor area,” he said.

The Avalon series also features a big bonus room that includes double 8-foot French doors shared with the family room. The bonus room also has a 12-foot-4-inch coffered ceiling, a full-length pot shelf, a 9-foot-wide triple sliding door and an 8-foot-wide picture window looking outdoors and onto the pool area.

The master bedroom, living room and bonus room in the Avalon IV all come with coffered ceilings as standard, the kid’s rooms are all 12 feet by 12 feet, and the fourth bedroom is oversized with a private entry to the bath so it can also serve as a guest or in-law suite.

“This home is so livable and family friendly,” Zuckerman said. “Even the utility room is big and bright with counter top space and a storage closet.”

Topping off the ample space in the Avalon IV is its location in one of the most desired areas, Wesley Chapel, in Forest Oaks, a private gated community.

“Forest Oaks is in an outstanding location in Wesley Chapel,” Zuckerman said. “There are exceptional, beautifully wooded, one-half acre (approx.) home sites. And even more unique is that these home sites are 125 to 130 feet wide with plenty of space between neighbors.”

This area of Pasco County is very convenient, with three new schools, a beautiful new county sports complex, the newly opened Florida Hospital, and lots of options for shopping (Shops at Wiregrass, The Grove at Wesley Chapel and easy access to the many shops along Bruce B. Downs Boulevard). In addition, there is a proposed national tennis center that’s being considered next to Saddlebrook Resort.

Forest Oaks is nestled away yet offers easy access to State Road 54 and Interstate 75.

Avalon Building Corp. has built homes for families throughout the Tampa Bay area for nearly two decades. With a customer-first approach, Avalon is known for being a semi-custom builder and for being an On-Your-Lot builder, building on customer’s own lots or on one of Avalon’s lots.

Avalon home plans range from 1,800 to 4,200 square feet.

In addition to the award-winning Avalon IV, model homes are also available for Avalon’s Antigua and Bella Vista designs.

The Antigua model, also a Grand Award winner, features 3,654 square feet of living space and is priced from $335,900 ($92 per square foot), plus lot. It offers four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a den, a bonus room and a three-car garage.

The Bella Vista, Avalon’s newest model at 4,127 square feet, starts at $436,900. You can see this unique and luxurious model on Avalon’s website.
