The annual Ybor Jazz Festival returns to Ybor City for its third year on Wednesday, and brings with it a strong lineup of national and locally-based jazz musicians, including Guisando Caliente, La Lucha and The Dreamboats.
The festival features a total of eight performances spread out over five days, from Wednesday to Sunday, at the Mainstage Theatre on the Ybor campus of Hillsborough Community College.
Other performances at the festival include vocalist Katt Hefner, a selection of "spy music" by the
Helios Jazz Orchestra and a tribute to the music of John Coltrane and Cannonball Adderley, performed by Jeremy Powell and Austin Vickrey.
Tickets to individual performances are $15. There's also an all-show pass, which is good for all eight performances, available for $50.
