Robin Thicke tour announcement snubs Tampa

Riding high on the success of his inescapable summertime smash “Blurred Lines,” singer Robin Thicke made a long-anticipated tour announcement this morning.

But, don’t expect to see Miley Cyrus’ VMA dance partner in Tampa, or anywhere else in Florida for that matter.

The closest Thicke’s 15-date North American tour will come to the Sunshine State is its Feb. 21 opening night in Atlanta, Ga.

Joining Thicke on tour will be pop singer Jessie J and DJ Cassidy.

“Blurred Lines” the album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 in July, while the single “Blurred Lines” spent 12 weeks at No. 1.
