Offspring to headline August show in Tampa

The Offspring, who sprung to prominence in the 1990s, will headline a punk concert at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in August.

The Offspring will be joined by Bad Religion, Pennywise and Fear when they bring their 2014 Summer Nationals Tour to the Amphitheatre on Aug. 14.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

The band will perform its 1994 breakthrough album Smash in its entirety. The band hit the mainstream with the album, which featured such hits as “Come Out and Play,” “Self Esteem” and “Gotta Get Away.”

Tickets range from $20 to $45 and will be available at the arena box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, or at the Live Nation website.
