A month after he surprised some music fans by releasing an album the same day as Kanye West's highly anticipated "Yeezus," rapper J. Cole has announced a concert in Tampa.
Cole, whose sophomore studio album "Born Sinner" ended up outselling "Yeezus" with the help of the hit single "Power Trip," will take the stage at the Straz Center on Sept. 13.
Washington D.C. rapper Wale will also be there to open the show at the What Dreams May Come Tour.
Tickets, priced at $39.50 to $202.50, are on sale through strazcenter.org and the Straz Center box office in downtown Tampa.
J. Cole was nominated for a Grammy for his 2011 debut "Cole World: The Sideline Story."
