More than 90 participants from, toddlers to teens, parents, nurses and members of St. Joseph's Children's Hospital of Tampa Child Life staff took part in their fourth annual prom on Friday, April 25. It was held in the Medical Arts Building Auditorium, 3001 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Tampa.

It was everything a traditional prom has to offer, except for the fact that some of the patients may never get to experience one. The celebration began before the prom, when boys and girls alike were getting the final touches on their hair and makeup and adding the perfect accessories to complement their outfits. Patients who didn't have a gown or tuxedo could go to the dressing room and select his/her special outfit for the evening.

Sponsors included Macy's, Alessi Catering, PDQ, Irene and Rafael Salas and SJH Food Services. There was also a Candy Bar experience provided by DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Tampa Airport, Westshore.
